Royal Dance Conservatory is a smaller dance studio that has a strong focus on a community feel. Since we are a smaller studio we can assure you will receive a personal experience you won't find anywhere else. Our motto is “Dance To Express Not Impress!” and we ensure that students are in a positive and welcoming environment. This is most important when it comes to younger dancers, as they need more one-on-one attention when first beginning.

All students in our regular dance season receive the opportunity to perform at two RDC recitals! Our first recital of the year is Winter Gala held in the middle of December. This is a much smaller and intimate event due to the smaller venue it is held at. This allows all our dancers to have their moment to shine on stage. For our Year End Recital we order costumes that are professional dance costumes that give an exciting feel. Each class performs a longer routine mid May where both photos and videos of the event are offered so these memories last a lifetime.

We want to make sure our classes are affordable so that everyone can experience the joy of dance. The more classes a student registers for the more of a discount they receive. When you are ready to register we will make sure you take advantage to all of our discounts and will assist you in selecting the payment plan that fits you. At Royal Dance Conservatory students are more than just a number. Our dance instructors take time to connect and get to know each student. We want our dance studio to be a safe and welcoming environment for everyone who steps through the door.

We give all our dance students a chance to shine! Every student will be provided with at least two performance opportunities throughout the year (Winter Gala & Year End Recital). In addition to this there are several other events to allow dancers to get the most out of their Royal Dance Conservatory experience.

Royal Dance Conservatory prides itself on having two levels within the school. Our Core Classes are where students can grow and flourish in a relaxed and positive environment. Our Company is for the most determined dancers. Students are challenged in this company where the focus on technique and performance while they participate in various competitions. ​Whatever level a student is at we make sure that they can continue to grow and challenge themselves.​<

Our acrobatic classes are taught only by instructors that have achieved their Acrobatic Arts certification. Children should not be put at risk with uncertified instructors. We ensure all students to progress in a safe environment especially when it comes to acrobatics.

"Marley" floor is a specialized flooring material used throughout the dance industry both for professional dance ensembles and dance studios. Originally made by Marley Floors Ltd. it is now the standard for studios that want to provide a slip free and stable dance surface that allows for maximum performance. It is expensive but worth the cost to make the dance experience safe and injury free

To register online, go to the top bar on royaldanceconservatory.com and select Members > Parent Portal. Here you will be able to create or log into your RDC account. Once you are logged in you can register online as well as access important info in our 'Shared Files'. Registration opens each year in May! We are open throughout the summer for registration however registering early gets ensures you get the classes you want at the best prices possible.

Ballet is the root of all dances and a perfect partner to all of the classes we offer. Ballet will give dancers a strong base with their technique, teach proper alignment, and helps prevent injuries. ​For dancers who hope to move up to the competitive level of dance, ballet is a must, especially in jazz and lyrical.

All our classes are 55 minutes long unless stated otherwise.

Our tuition costs are included at the bottom of each of our 'Classes' pages. We have separate costs for our Mini Classes (Age 3-6) and our Core Classes (Age 6+)

To access our schedule simply create an account with us by selecting 'Register Online'. One you have an account you will be able to access our schedule in 'Shared Files' and the 'Register For Classes' section.

Having an account with us will also allow you to access important files such as dress code and class schedules. You can register for classes online, view class costumes, let us know if your dancer will be absent, and view your purchases. It's the perfect way to keep up to date with everything at RDC.

The first step is to speak to the director Miss Nicole and let us know you are interested! We would love your dancer to join our team! Once an assessment is done we can see where your dancer is technically. At this point we can look at what needs to be done in order to get them ready for our competitive teams. This may mean getting ready for the team right away or working towards this goal in an additional year in order to prepare..

The Junior Company & Competitive Company is for the most determined dancer. Training is more extensive ensuring progress, while encouraging fluidity of movement and strengthening the dancer's overall abilities. Students are more challenged and focused on their technique and performance readying them to participate in various dance competitions throughout the season.​

Dance Performances and Events

At Royal Dance Conservatory we want to give all our students a chance to shine! Every student will be provided with at least two performance opportunities throughout the year. In addition to this there will be several other events to allow them to get their most out of their RDC experience. 
Parents Week
All students are welcome to bring family members to each of their classes to observe and participate during this week! This is a fun time for the students to share their passion for dance. Chairs will be set up for parents so they can observe and participate.
Winter Gala
This show benefits dancers by giving them more experience performing on stage and highlighting their efforts for all their friends and family! This gala is a more casual event than the year end recital. With this more relaxed environment dancers focus more on having fun on stage and getting over their fears before the year end recital.
Picture Days
In the spring a professional photographer will take individual and group shots of the students wearing their costumes. Remember to order pictures so these memories last a lifetime!
Year End Recital
The RDC season ends with an annual May Recital. All classes perform a routine they have been rehearsing the past few months. All students are required to order costumes to participate. Tickets for the annual dance recital will go on sale in Spring of the new year. More detailed information will be communicated closer to the event.
