This program is meant for students that want to move up the dance latter! Do you want to be a dance teacher in the future? This is the place to start learning the skills necessary and building the relationships that will lead you down the right path!
This program allows our assistants to reap many benefits such as; giving back to the dance community, making connections with staff, learning valuable skills, volunteering hours for high school students and more! Dancers within this program will also receive several perks within the season that you won’t want to miss out on.
RDC currently covers all tuition/pricing associated with training and teaching our Jammers & Apprentices. This means families will not endure any costs for these programs.

Jammers and Apprentices represent Royal Dance Conservatory and must be exemplary students and volunteers. Any misconduct, poor behaviour, poor sportsmanship, disrespect of fellow dancers/instructors in classroom or at performance/events will result in an immediate termination of position.
All Apprentices must begin the program as a Jammer. There are no guarantees for a paid position as a teacher and will be first-come-first-served based on experience and need. All assistants will be evaluated and assessed by the director and instructor periodically. Schedules are subject to change throughout the program year based on class enrolment.
