In this lecture, Michele offers encouraging advice on managing audition and performance nerves. With a background in dance and a Master's Degree in Depth Psychology with an emphasis on Somatic Studies, this talk is perfect for the nervous or anxious performer.
Instructor Bio:
Michele Lynch is an award-winning choreographer for stage and film. On Broadway, she has choreographed Everyday Rapture and The Coast of Utopia, and she has served as the Associate Choreographer for Hairspray, Urinetown the Musical, and The Full Monty. She has choreographed for the national tours of Dirty Dancing, Little House on the Prairie, Happy Days — The Musical, and choreographed for Dolly Parton’s World Tour. Michele’s choreography credits on film include The Last Five Years, Joyful Noise, and Camp. As a performer, Michele was on Broadway in Victor/Victoria and was a Radio City Rockette. She regularly teaches jazz and musical theatre at Broadway Dance Center and has taught masterclasses at universities and studios across the world.
